Caution prevails also in view of the US inflation datacoming out in the next few days, and of the Fed Chairman Powell’s testimony to Congress: the second day could better clarify the central bank’s next moves after the President yesterday did not reveal much on the matter and spoke mostly of slowing growth.
L’Euro / US Dollar maintains a substantially stable position at 1.082. Slight increase for thegoldwhich shows a rise of 0.34%. Oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) is down (-0.48%) and stands at 81.02 dollars per barrel.
Slight improvement of the spreadwhich drops to +137 basis points, with a decrease of 2 basis points, while the yield on the 10-year BTP stands at 3.90%.
Among the main European stock exchanges little movement Frankfurtwhich shows a +0.12%, small steps forward for Londonwhich marks a marginal increase of 0.23%, discharged Pariswhich reports a moderate -0.14%.
No significant changes for the Milan stock marketwith the FTSE MIB which stands at the same values as yesterday at 33,924 points; along the same line, it moves around parity FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich continues the day at 36,151 points. At the levels of the day before, the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.17%); fractional gains for the FTSE Italia Star (+0.28%).
Between best italian stocks large cap, positive trend for Prysmianwhich is advancing by a decent +2.43%, further galvanized by the positive analyst ratings after the acquisition of Encore.
Well bought Saipemwhich marks a strong increase of 1.88%.
TIM advances by 1.68% after having been awarded by S&P with an improvement in the rating.
Moderately positive day for Interpumpwhich rises by a fractional +1.17%.
Among the sharpest declines we can note BPM Bankwhich continues the session with -1.23%.
Weak Ivecowhich sits just below the levels of the day before.
