The First Descendant Bunny Build – How to eliminate opponents as you run past

Bunny is currently one of the most popular descendants in The First Descendant. We’ll therefore show you a Bunny build that lets you take out enemies as you run past.

Who is the build for? Bunny is a damage dealer. She uses electric attacks to constantly damage her opponents and has fast movement. Bunny excels in battle because she deals most of her damage through her skills and is a real glass cannon. She has comparatively few health points and low defense.

The build is aimed at bunny players who not only want to deal the best possible damage with their abilities, but also want to enjoy a little more health and defense.

Bunny Build – Reactor, external components and modules

What kind of build is this? The build should utilize Bunny’s strengths and negate his weaknesses as much as possible. That means:

  • We strengthen their abilities, especially “lightning strike” and “speed of light”
  • We increase health and defense
  • Increasing the defensive values in particular benefits Bunny’s gameplay, so that you are not constantly crawling around on the ground hoping for help. Strengthening the skills and their range, in turn, allows Bunny to quickly eliminate enemies by running past them at “light speed” and using the “lightning strike” ability.

Lightning Strike deals damage to nearby enemies while moving and electrocutes them.

At the speed of light, the sprint speed increases significantly and Bunny charges more electricity.

The build presented here is based on the recommendations of YouTuber Moxsy, who as a content creator has been playing other loot shooters such as Warframe and Borderlands for years in addition to The First Descendant.

    Reactor: Tingling Singularity

Why the Tingling Singularity? You can farm the “Tingling Singularity” reactor quite easily in the restricted area in the barren land in hard mode (available after the story).

It also offers a boost to the strength of your electrical abilities and your fusion abilities. Since we are focusing on the skills “lightning strike” and “speed of light”, the reactor increases exactly the values we need.

A notice: Remember that you can upgrade your reactor in Albion and increase skill power. This will increase the base damage of your skills.

External components – more life vs. more damage

What do you have to pay attention to? To reduce Bunny’s defensive weaknesses, it is best to farm external components that increase either your health points (HP) or your defense (DEV).

When selecting your external components, you should also try to get a so-called double roll. The components can each boost two different values, one of which is fixed and one random. You want to boost the same value twice on one component, for example 2x HP or 2x DEF.

Should you farm certain components? Yes and no. First of all, your focus should be on maximizing your health and defense. In theory, it doesn’t matter which parts you use for this.

However, there is one set that can be particularly worthwhile, the “Supernova” set. This has a nice set bonus and also increases your defense. Unfortunately, your life points fall by the wayside.

  • Having two pieces of the Supernova set equipped increases your Electro skill power modifier.
  • When four set pieces are equipped, it also increases your fusion skill strength modifier.
  • Additionally, the set allows enemies affected by electrocution to be struck by lightning, causing high damage.
  • So if you feel like you need more damage and less health, equip the Supernova set. However, if you want some extra health in addition to your DEF boost, go for a mix of the two sets and increase both your DEF and HP.

This mix of sets could look like this:

More LP & and VERMore damageAuxiliary energyLP Support Auxiliary UnitSupernova Auxiliary UnitsensorLP Support SensorSupernova SensorStorageSupernova Memory (boosts VER)Supernova MemoryprocessorSupernova Processor (boosts VER)Supernova Processor

    Module

Why these modules? The modules are designed to improve your skills or increase your defensive values. Which modules you equip also depends on whether you are farming and want to eliminate loads of small enemies as quickly as possible, or whether you are fighting a boss battle.

    You should equip these modules:

    Opponent groupsBoss fightsNimble fingers
    (reduces skill cooldown) Nimble Fingers
    (reduces skill cooldown)Increased HP
    (increases max. HP)Increased HP
    (increases max. HP)Electrical Specialist
    (increases electric skill strength)Electric Specialist
    (increases electric skill strength)Range maximization
    (increases skill range)HP boost
    (increases max. HP)//Shock StrikeShock StrikeTechnician
    (increases skill strength modifier)Technician
    (increases skill strength modifier)Skill increase
(increases skill effect range)x-Antibodies, e.g. poison or heat
    (increases resistance to effects)Strong mentality
    (increases MP recovery)Strong mentality
(increases MP recovery)Increased VERIncreased VERMP collectors
(restores MP when defeating an enemy)Spear and shield
    (increases DEF and skill strength)

The two builds differ slightly in terms of maximum health, defense, and skill enhancement. Compared to the build for small enemies, the boss build does not have skill range or MP recovery. Instead, it has modules that further increase DEF and maximum health points.

Bunny Build: Weapons – These are the guns you should take with you

Weapons don’t really play a big role in the Bunny build, at least outside of boss fights. If you’re still wondering which weapons you should pack, we have a few recommendations for you.

These weapons are recommended for your Bunny Build:

  • Thundercage – Submachine Gun – Ultimate
  • Tamer – Machine gun – rare
  • Glowing sword
  • Enforcer – Shotgun – Ultimate
  • This is what makes the Thunder Cage strong: The Thunder Cage can emit electric shockwaves when it defeats enemies, dealing additional damage to nearby enemies.

This makes the tamer strong: The Tamer is “only” a rare machine gun, but it causes a lot of damage per second and has a lot of ammunition.

This is what makes the Glowing Sword strong: Shots against Commanders or Colossi increase the critical hit rate when hitting weak points. This allows Bunny and other Descendants to deal good damage even at long distances and without using their abilities.

This makes the enforcers strong: Can inflict electrocution via the weapon’s special ability. When you hit enemies affected by electrocution, it increases your firearm attack.

To get the most out of Bunny and have the strongest build possible, you have to farm a lot and collect the right components.

You can also strengthen Bunny if you unlock Ultimate Bunny. The special version of the sprinter can either be bought in the shop for around 60 euros or earned through intensive grinding.
