Lasse Berghagenthe former presenter of the television program “Allsång på Skansen”, was celebrated during Tuesday night’s broadcast with a cavalcade of songs from his career.

Berghagen is praised after the criticism of SVT
SVT has previously received criticism from one of Berghagen’s closest friends, Anders Wiklöffor not paying enough tribute to the singer after his death.
– Now I think he was forgotten a little too quickly, Wiklöf said then.
Berghagen died on 19 October 2023 and his memory was honored during the evening with songs such as “Ding dong”, “Hålligång i skogen” and “Stretch out your hand”.

– He left an incredibly large void behind him and it became like a national mourning. But what is so nice is that Lasse’s memory, and Lasse’s music, live on forever, said the current presenter Pernilla wahlgrenbefore she together with a children’s choir and the audience began to sing “Teddybjörnen Fredriksson”.

The famous line “he took off his jacket, kick’ off both shoes” from “An Evening in June” was sung by Tommy Nilsson.
During the song, clips from Lasse Berghagen’s time on “Allsång på Skansen” were shown, including where a person held up a sign that said “no allsang without Lasse”.
