Reese, who played her rookie season in the women’s basketball league WNBA, has now scored a double-double in 13 consecutive games.

Reese broke the almost 15-year-old double-double record in Finnish time the night before Monday. The American has now scored double digits in at least two of the following statistical categories in 13 consecutive games: points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks.
Reese had 17 points and 14 rebounds in the loss against the Seattle Storm.
The previous record was held by the one who represented the Los Angeles Sparks in the 2009–10 season Candace Parkerwho scored a double-double in 12 straight games.
From record breaking Reese had been asked after the match, what he thinks about breaking Parker’s nearly 15-year-old record.
– He is the best of all time, Reese, who was recently selected for the star match of the series, had said.
Reese’s first season in the WNBA has been successful in terms of point production. He has averaged 14.1 points and 11.9 rebounds per game.
Chicago, represented by Reese, is fourth in the Eastern Conference.
