A YouTuber shows how to become One Punch Man in Elden Ring and defeat all bosses

Those who fight their way through Elden Ring and the DLC have different ways of doing so. One YouTuber showed how he defeated the bosses with just a single hit.

What was the intention? YouTuber Bushy publishes content about Elden Ring on his channel. This includes various challenges in which he tries out strong builds or plays mods that turn all enemies into difficult bosses.

Now he has set himself a special task: to defeat all bosses in the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree with just one attack – a one-shot.

He sets a rule for this: the boss must die after a single action in battle. If there are multiple phases and life bars, there can only be one attack per phase.

Bushy says he wants to use the challenge to show that there are different ways to play Elden Ring. Sure, you can study and memorize the bosses’ attack patterns, dodge at the right moment, and then strike. Or you can use an extremely strong build like Bushy’s and make short work of the final bosses.

The builds do ridiculous amounts of damage

How does the YouTuber play? In a 40-minute video on YouTube, Bushy shows how he tackles the challenge. He uses different OP builds, all of which cause massive amounts of damage.

Before he fights the bosses, he gets enough Scadu tree fragments to strengthen his attack power and defense. This gives him a damage boost of 70%. You can find a guide to the Scadu tree fragments on MeinMMO.

Equipped with this, Bushy uses a build that combines the mighty Giant Breaker with the War Ash “Courage of the King’s Knights”. Strength and Arcane Energy are leveled accordingly, and Bushy also strengthens his attacks with the invocation “Golden Oath” and talismans such as the Axe Talisman.

Bushy is in Elden Ring as One Punch Man.

Over the course of the video, Bushy switches to a different build depending on the boss. The build that uses the perfume bottles with the war ash “Rolling Sparks” is particularly strong. The YouTuber points out, however, that these were nerfed with the current patch 1.12.3. The video was made before that.

How does the community react? Many viewers of the video on YouTube are impressed. On the one hand by the efficiency with which Bushy defeats the bosses, and on the other hand by the dedication that the YouTuber has invested in the challenge.

According to him, the video cost him over a hundred hours of research – but the result is impressive. For some troubled players, it feels good when they see the bosses being sent to the afterlife in one-shot:

  • “I love the catharsis of being challenged by the DLC myself and then coming to Bushy to see the bosses humiliated with a single hit,” writes kgniku503.
  • “One-shotting Messmer should have put you on the wanted list,” says JoragnGJorgan.
  • “Seeing Gaius die with one hit was cathartic,” says oberzen208.
  • Although not all bosses died on the first attempt due to the powerful builds, the challenge worked in the end. What do you think? Do you want to try out the builds yourself? Let us know in the comments. The Elden Ring DLC offers 42 new bosses – the community will choose the worst one.
