According to NWT the driver is trapped and both an ambulance and an ambulance helicopter have been sent to the scene.
The extent of the damage is unclear.

Several unions representing airport workers in Paris are calling for a strike the week before the Olympics.
The reason is a dispute over salary bonuses in connection with the Olympic Games.
The unions believe that bonuses should be paid to all staff, not just to certain groups.
The airports in question are Charles de Gaulle and Orly, which will receive the majority of foreign visitors during the Olympics. The strike has been called for July 17, nine days before the sports competitions start.

Jan Emanuel is back in the Social Democrats.
He was forced to leave the party after the launch of Folklistan.
– I can definitely imagine sitting in the Riksdag again, if the boys become boys, he says.
His membership was confirmed at the end of last week after an interview with the party locally in Norrtälje.
– They were perfectly fine with me being able to come back, says Jan Emanuel from his luxury yacht in Visby.
Jan Emanuel sat in the Riksdag for S in rounds between 2004 and 2010 – now he can consider running again in the 2026 election.
– I can definitely imagine sitting in the Riksdag again. But then the starting point is that we – that the sossas – once again become just sossas, he says and stresses that S must become a “workers’ party” again.
Should he stand, it will be with a stance on the government question that differs greatly from the party line. S should govern with the Sweden Democrats, perhaps with the support of the Moderates, says Jan Emanuel. The Green Party wants S to withdraw.

Storm Beryl moved in as a deadly hurricane across Mexico and the Caribbean before reaching the Texas coast, knocking out power to two million homes.
Now it has decreased in strength – but continues to cause problems as a tropical storm.
High water quickly began closing roads around Houston as Storm Beryl made landfall with winds of nearly 80 miles per hour.
More than 1,000 flights have been canceled at Houston’s two airports. The floods are expected to last for several days.
The center of the storm is expected to move across East Texas on Monday and then through the lower Mississippi Valley into Ohio on Tuesday and Wednesday.
– Beryl is moving inland but this is not the end of the story yet, says Jack Beven, hurricane specialist at the National Hurricane Center.
A fire started heavily in a recycling factory outside Värnamo on Monday.
Large amounts of plastic caught fire, causing heavy smoke.
– We are there now and working on extinguishing, says a press spokesperson for the rescue service.
A VMA, Important Public Notice, was issued. But it was lifted at 9 p.m.
During the evening, the police also issued a warning not to approach the fire scene.
There are no reports of anyone being injured.

A car is on fire on the E4 near Herrbeta, just outside Linköping.
According to the rescue service, the affected people have got out.
The road was first completely closed in the southbound direction. Just before 7 p.m., one lane was opened.
At 19.30 the fire was extinguished.
A man died in Kivik’s market after a wheel of chocolate fell on him. Now the market wants to compensate the 55-year-old man’s family, writes Expressen.
– Money can’t bring anyone back. But there will be some form of compensation, says the market manager, Anders Strand to the newspaper.
Approximately 3,900 households in Hultsfred are currently without power, reports P4 Kalmar.
The power outage is due to thunder in the area, and there is currently no forecast for when the power will be restored, according to the radio.
Chamber prosecutor Josefin Sävlund has started a preliminary investigation regarding the death at Kivik’s market this weekend.
– This applies to causing the death of another, a felony, and causing bodily harm, a felony, she says.
During the market, another person also received moderate injuries. Due to the early stage of the investigation, she does not want to go into any details.
– We are awaiting results after the technical investigation and we have held interviews, as well as other usual investigative measures.

Two cars have collided on the Tjörnbron at Stenungsund.

A total of four people were involved, all without injuries according to SOS Alarm. The traffic is released alternately with an open lane, without forecast.
A 55-year-old man was arrested by security guards in Malmö district court when he had a knife in his bag.
The police were called to the scene and made a report of a violation of the Knife Act.
The knife was confiscated and the arrest of the man was lifted.

Chaotic scenes have taken place at a refugee accommodation in Germany, reports say Picture.
The police were called to the scene in Buchholz in der Nordheide due to a dispute.
At the scene, a person is found carrying some form of flammable liquid. It explodes and the refugee accommodation catches fire.
The emergency services were called to the scene and extinguishing work began.
One person died and 20 people were injured in the fire, eight of whom needed to be taken to hospital. One police officer suffered serious burns.
A truck has overturned between Lerum and Härryda, reports P4 Gothenburg.
The road is closed as a result of the incident.

Good question Bengt! And it’s probably not something I can answer, but a big difference between Sweden and the USA is that election day here is always a holiday, which at least makes it possible for more people to vote without having to take time off (if you don’t vote early then).
Why do you only answer ridiculous questions about pacifiers and sports, while respectfully dissing heavy topics that may be a bit sensitive and difficult to answer? 😡

I wouldn’t say we do, and when it came to the issue of pacifiers, it was a recall. So quite important information for parents.
Then it is not always the case that we can let all questions go through, e.g. those that contain serious violations or name publications that we ourselves have not made.
