Dr. Kevin Cannard of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center visited the White House eight times from July 2023 to March 2024, according to official White House visitor records obtained by the New York Times.
It was unclear whether Cannard, a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders, was there specifically to discuss Biden’s condition or as part of unrelated meetings with the White House medical team.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates did not provide details on the content of Cannard’s visits, but noted that experts within the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center system visit the White House to treat thousands of military personnel working in the field.
Bates argued that Biden is “seen by a neurologist once a year” as part of his general physical exam and that “this exam has found no signs of Parkinson’s disease.”

Competing in the US presidential elections to be held on November 5, Democrat Joe Biden and his Republican opponent Donald Trump faced off in the first live debate on CNN on the night of June 27.
Biden, 81, failed to deliver a performance that would allay concerns about his age in his second-term candidacy and was heavily criticized after the program. Members of the Democratic Party and some media outlets that support Biden called on Biden to “withdraw from the presidential election.”
Biden, on the other hand, admitted that his health condition was not what it used to be, stated that he was still the best alternative to Trump and announced that he would not withdraw from the race.
On July 2, Lloyd Dodgett, a Democrat from the House of Representatives of the US Congress, called on Joe Biden to “withdraw from the presidential race”, becoming the first Democratic member of Congress to make this call. (AA)
