    Blessing of the Scadu Tree – What you need to know

    Why is the blessing important? In the Elden Ring DLC, you’ll quickly notice that your level is useless. No matter how high your power level is, you always receive the same percentage of damage. This can be frustrating in the long run, and to counteract this, you need to increase your blessing of the Scadu tree.

    Just like the Golden Seed or the Holy Tears from the base game, the Scadu Tree Fragments help you become more powerful in the DLC. With each increase, the blessing reduces the damage you take and also increases the damage you deal. So it’s important that you increase your blessing first and collect the fragments before you venture into boss fights.

    How much can the blessing be increased? The blessing of the Scadu tree also reaches its limit at some point. The limit is 20 levels. Note that the blessing only applies in the DLC. So you only become stronger in the Shadowlands, the Intermediate Lands do not benefit from this buff. In addition, the buff also lasts in NG+ and can be caught up on in an additional run if you have not yet reached the maximum value.
