Russia struck with missiles all over Ukraine – dozens dead

On Monday, Russia hit several Ukrainian cities with missiles. In Kyiv, the missiles hit a children’s hospital, among others.

Russia hit Ukraine with more than 40 missiles in Monday’s rare daytime airstrike, Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyi tells.

According to the Ministry of the Interior of Ukraine, at least 20 people have died in the attacks so far. There are around 50 injured.

Russia attacked with cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, among others, Kiev, D Kropyvnytskyi, Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro and Pokrovsk. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, hypersonic Kinžal missiles were also used in the attack.

In Kryvyi Rih, up to 10 people have been killed and 31 injured in missile strikes. Three people lost their lives in the attacks in the eastern city of Pokrovsk, the governor of the region says. One person died in an attack in Dnipro.

A children’s hospital collapsed in Kyiv

Local authorities in Kyiv say at least ten people died in the attacks. According to the people of Kyiv, the Russian missiles hit a children’s hospital, a residential building and various infrastructure. Among other things, three substations are out of use due to damage caused in the attacks.

According to President Zelensky, there are people stuck in the ruins of a children’s hospital in Kyiv, who are currently being tried to be freed.

Zelenskyi assumes that the number of victims of the bombings will still rise.
