Police have released little information about the suspicious death of a 40-year-old woman on Friday.

A news release issued Friday evening said Brantford Police have a man in custody and they “aren’t seeking any further suspects”.
The release said there is no danger to the public and the suspect and victim are known to each other.
A police spokesperson could not release information about where in the city the death occurred but police are asking anyone with information to reach out to them at 519-756-0113.
