During Saturday, a severe storm moved in over Jönköping County with thunder, lightning and heavy rain. On Sunday, the rainy weather was over, but the wind was strong. The organizer therefore chose to shorten the distance they would swim to 600 meters. But the bad weather didn’t stop people from visiting the competition during the day.
– This is a public party. It probably wouldn’t have mattered if it had been pouring rain, it would have been full of people, says Marie Hallström, who cheered on her daughter who was competing.
