2024 Tour de France cycling race portraits of Biniam Girmay

The 111th edition of the Tour de France stops in Troyes this Sunday, July 7 for a spectacular stage through the department and in particular 14 white paths from the Côte des Bar to Troyes. This edition includes 8 young African riders, but the one who has been making sparks since the start of the competition is the Eritrean Biniam Girmay. The pioneer of African cycling, 24 years old, won Saturday’s stage. An incredible double since last Monday, he made history by becoming the first black rider to win a stage of the Tour de France. The Belgian Arnaud de Lie is just 20 years old, this is his first tour. As for the Norwegian Jakob Fuglsang, a 39-year-old veteran, he is probably participating in his last loop here.
