The police were called to the scene shortly after eight o’clock on Sunday morning after staff in a shop in the Ingelstad district triggered an assault alarm.
A man armed with a sharp scalpel had forced himself to take medication under threat. The man then left the scene.
The man was arrested a while later in Åby outside Norrköping.
No one was injured in the robbery.
