Warning, spoilers for The Boys: Superman has kryptonite. And Homelander has milk. The fourth season of Amazon’s hit series The Boys takes the narcissistic superhero’s bizarre milk fetish to the next level in episode 6. The disturbing moment even tops the crazy trip to Tek Knight’s BDSM dungeon a few minutes earlier. According to series creator Eric Kripke, season 4 has reached the peak of absurdity.
Homelander’s milk scene in The Boys Season 4 disturbed even the stars
The new Seven member Firecracker (Valorie Curry) does absolutely everything to get the attention of her leader and idol. After playing up her sexual charms has little effect, she now resorts to drastic measures – and Homelander’s (Antony Starr) horrified reaction speaks volumes.
In the 6th episode of season 4, Firecracker surprises everyone with a special gift. To prove her loyalty, she has pumped herself full of drugs to be able to produce breast milk. She unexpectedly injects this into her boss’s face, who immediately becomes weak and quenches his thirst for mother films directly at the source for the first time.

Homelander and Firecracker intimate
In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Kripke describes this moment as “the craziest thing we’ve ever done” and is convinced that the milk scene in season 4 cannot be topped:
Madness is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. But for me, this moment could be the price of craziest and most insane moment in season 4 win.
Writing such an absurd scene is certainly easy for Eric Kripke and his team. The Boys has proven this many times in recent years and has already showered characters with every imaginable bodily fluid. But playing this scene is another matter. Valorie Curry had surprisingly few concerns:
Everyone knows Homelander’s love for breast milk […] Of course this had to happen at some pointand it makes perfect sense that it’s Firecracker. I love that scene. I love the way it was played. I love how vulnerable and intimate and honest it is, which makes it that much weirder. It’s perfect.
Even before the fourth season, Homelander actor Antony Starr described an upcoming moment as “the most bizarre thing I’ve ever done“. He now confirmed to IGN that he actually meant the milk splash in the face and talks about the strange twist:
I have [Curry] just looked at it and said, ‘What in God’s name are we doing here? This is so absurd.’ There have been stranger things. There have been crazier things. We’ve done all kinds of things on this show, but when we did this, I thought, ‘Oh my god, this is so perverse and weird.‘
The Boys fans can be sure that this was not the last bizarre moment in the Amazon series. After all, there is still a final 5th season to come, which can pull out all the stops for the final showdown between Homelander and the Boys.
