United States Senator Mark Warner is trying to assemble a group of Democratic senators to impeach the country’s sitting president Joe Biden to leave the presidential race, sources familiar with the matter say The Washington Post for the magazine.
According to the newspaper’s anonymous sources, Warner has told Democratic senators that Biden can no longer continue in the race after his fumbling debate performance. Warner has also said that he fears that Biden will not be able to defeat his Republican challenger Donald Trump.
