Kara-Murza is serving his prison sentence in the Omsk region of northwestern Siberia. The wife and the lawyer have previously said that the politician’s health deteriorated further in prison. Kara-Murza is suspected of being the target of poisoning attempts in 2015 and 2017.
According to Yevgenija Kara-Murza, her husband’s lawyers arrived on Thursday morning to meet their client at the prison colony, but they were not allowed to meet him.
Later, the lawyers found out that Kara-Murza has been transferred to the prison hospital, but they were not allowed to visit him in the hospital yesterday Thursday or today Friday.
Kara-Murza has criticized the president Vladimir Putin administration and its war of aggression against Ukraine.
