12:20 – A very special yellow jersey
This Friday, Tadej Pogacar will wear a tailor-made yellow jersey for this first time trial of the 2024 Tour de France.
12:10 – A sprint finish yesterday
The 6th stage of the 2024 Tour de France crowned Dutch sprinter Dylan Groenewegen ahead of Jasper Philipsen who was disqualified later in the day for pushing Wout van Aert in the sprint. In the general classification nothing changed despite a blow from the echelon.
12:00 – First departure at 1:05 p.m.
The riders will start according to the yellow jersey ranking. The first Tadej Pogacar will start last. It is therefore Mark Cavendish, last in the general classification, who will start at 1:05 p.m. There will then be a one-minute difference between the starts then one minute and thirty-two minutes for the last ten to start. Tadej Pogacar will start at 5 p.m. for an expected finish approximately 29 minutes later.
11:50 – The favorites of the 7th stage of the Tour de France 2024
This time trial could shake up the general classification. Indeed, the time trial world champion Remco Evenepoel, 2nd in the general classification, is 45″ behind the leader Tadej Pogacar. The Belgian could therefore dethrone the Slovenian at the end of the afternoon. But, despite everything, we must keep an eye on Pogacar who is comfortable on the time trials. On the French side, the French champion of the discipline Bruno Armirail is the greatest French chance.
11:40 – The profile of the 7th stage of the Tour de France 2024
