Comanches in conflict with network linked to the Strawberry

At the same time that Danish authorities are actively working on various bans on motorcycle gangs, the conflicts seem to be escalating in the country.

During the last week, three acts of violence were directed against the famous motorbike club Comanches and their relatives in Copenhagen.

The conflict began when members of the club stole a large amount of hashish, which they did not know belonged to a criminal network with connections to the Swedish gang leader Ismail Abdo, also known as the “Strawberry”, according to information to SVT Nyheter.

Growing concern

Now Danish police fear that the country is on the way to a similar development of violence as seen in Sweden – where the shootings are not only aimed at gang members but also their families.

At the same time, Comanches continue to grow in Denmark, but find it all the more difficult to become a power factor in Sweden. The location may seem relatively calm – but appearances can be deceiving.

On the other side of the Sound, Acta Publica sees i its latest report a development that may have consequences here as well.

Danish authorities have chosen to proceed with a law that would ban Bandidos in the country. This can lead to serious consequences also for the Swedish motorcycle environment, where Danish gangs may establish themselves in Sweden.
