Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy demands an answer from Donald Trump about what he means by the fact that, if he becomes the new US president, he can quickly end the war in Ukraine.
– If Trump knows how the war can be ended, he should tell us today, says Zelenskyj in an interview with Bloomberg.
The Ukrainian president says he would like to know what Trump’s plan means for Ukraine’s sovereignty and status. Ukraine must be able to prepare if Trump is elected, otherwise it will be a cruel game for the Ukrainians.
– We want to know, says Zelensky.
– We want to know whether in November we have the USA’s strong support or whether we stand alone.
In the so rewritten televised debate between Trump and US President Joe Biden last week, Trump complained that the US has spent billions across the Atlantic for Ukraine’s defense but that there is no indication that Ukraine is on the way to winning the war.
