TENNIS Guy den Ouden from Breukelen has reached the second round of the ITF tournament in Marburg, Germany. Den Ouden, seeded first, won the first set against Georgian Aleksandre Metreveli 6-1 and saw his opponent retire injured. In Stuttgart, Stephanie Visscher from Elst won with Jasmijn Gimbrère in the first round of the doubles with 61, 4-6, 11-9 against the French/Russian duo Lemaître/Zyranova.
Isis van den Broek reached the second round of the doubles in Amstelveen together with Loes Ebeling Koning. They defeated compatriots Rikke de Koning and Madelief Hageman with 6-2, 5-7 and 10-8. (Tuesday July 2)
