On Sunday, June 30, the first round of the legislative elections resulted in 300 triangular races, which means that 300 constituencies will have three candidates in the second round. To prevent the National Rally (RN) from obtaining an absolute majority, many political leaders – particularly those from the Socialist Party and its colleagues from the New Popular Front – are calling for a blockade of the extreme right and the systematic withdrawal of the candidate with the lowest ranking, leaving only one against the RN.
