Portugal advanced to the quarter-finals after a penalty shootout against Slovenia.
In an earlier stage of the match, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty that could have decided the match in extra time.
A penalty miss that made the 39-year-old start to cry. He then needed to be comforted by his teammates.
After the match got Cristiano Ronaldo the question of the emotions was due to the fact that this could be his last EC.

Then Ronaldo’s tears were exchanged for great joy, and after the promotion, the Al Nassr player celebrated with his compatriots.
Portugal will face France in the quarter-finals on Friday at 21:00.
