Frida Karlsson is one of Sweden’s biggest skiing stars.
But now she has once again proven her great talent in other sports.
Over the weekend, the 24-year-old made his dream comeback in the “wrong” sport.
Even though it’s summer and the snow is far away, the Swedish ski star continues Frida Karlsson to succeed. She is currently in hard training for the coming winter and the 2025 World Ski Championships in Trondheim that await.
Frida’s comeback
Nevertheless, she takes time to do completely different things than training with skis and poles. Because this weekend she laced up her football boots again and made a comeback for her Remsle UIF.

The 24-year-old was very promising in football, but chose in his teens to focus wholeheartedly on cross-country skiing instead. But the love for the sport is still there and when Remsle took on Umedalen in division 2, Karlsson made his season debut.
Karlsson’s goal
Together with the sisters Hannah Karlsson and Fanny Karlsson was a great success on the field. Already in the 29th minute, the final score was set at 3-1 when Hannah passed to Frida, who could easily push the ball into the open goal, see Frida’s goal below.

It was a real dream comeback for Frida Karlsson, who had only been on the field for three minutes when she scored the winning goal, see the video below. The last time the skiing star played a football match was on September 5, 2022.

Frida has previously told us that she was very good as a soccer player and that she was selected for an elite camp for the country’s best players in her cohort. But instead she chose the skis and today she is one of the world’s best cross-country skiers.
