The calendar of the Association of Traineras Clubs (ACT), organizer of the most important traineras leagues, the Eusko Label and the Euskotren, will have a total of 20 days of men’s competition and 16 of women’s regattasaccording to the calendar approved this Saturday.
“In the absence of 3 months for the start of the season, the members of the ACT have approved the summer calendar”, announced the Association of Trainers Clubs. The ACT summer will start in Bilbao with the dispute of a time trial on July 2 and will end with the dispute of the El Corte Inglés-Town Hall of Portugalete Flag on September 18.
Between those two dates, there will be 20 days of the Eusko Label Liga and 14 days of the Euskotren Liga, in addition to the two playoff days. For the second consecutive year, “the ACT is making an effort to reach 20 days in the Eusko Label Liga calendar, which will celebrate its twentieth edition, and will also extend the Euskotren Liga by two days”.
“An ambitious budget approved this morning that makes it possible for rowing fans to continue enjoying the two highest categories of fixed bench rowing and which contemplates the return of the Fan Zone after two years of absence” due to restrictions health, welcomes the ACT.
The Eusko Label Liga and the Euskotren Liga will be played in the waters of Galicia, Cantabria and the Basque Country. Four days will be played in Galicia and one in Cantabria, while the rest will be played in Basque waters.
Among the novelties of the season, they highlight “the landing for the first time in the waters of Getaria and the change in the Getxo regatta field”, whose regatta “will be held in the new port”.
