Kosovar Asllani has chosen a new club.
But it is a move that surprises SVT expert Hanna Marklund.
Now the former national team defender directs clear criticism towards “Kosse”.
On Thursday, the news came that the Swedish national team star Kosovar Asllani changing clubs again. The 34-year-old has decided to leave Milan and return to England again.

One of those who was really shocked by the move is the SVT expert Hanna Marklund.
– Quite surprising that she chose to go to the second division, even though it is a big-investing club. But I think it suits her to come to an environment where she becomes a main character, a star, and gets good financial conditions, she says to the television channel.
Marklund’s criticism
London City has the same owners as the French big club Lyon and the American Washington Spirit and will invest heavily to reach the English first division. But former national team player Marklund still thinks that it is a strange choice of club by Asllani.
– As a player, you can manage playing at a lower level for a while. It is possible to maintain the level for six months, but if the club does not rise quickly, it will affect her. Then she will not be at the absolute top, says the TV expert in his analysis.

Kosovare Asllani has been a key player in the Swedish national team for many years now. But according to Marklund, this move could have major consequences for both the national team veteran and Blågult.
– The EC comes relatively quickly and it is difficult to rise to a completely different level at a championship. I think it will be tough in the end. Now she is also at the age where it starts to affect her qualities as a player, says the former national team player.
