Fantasy luminary George RR Martin not only created the world of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, he is also involved in another story that has taken the video game world by storm in recent years.

Elden Ring was created by Japanese developer From Software in collaboration with George RR Martin. Studio president Hidetaka Miyazaki, who directed the game, told The Guardian (via VGC ) that interest in a film adaptation has already been expressed:
I see no reason to oppose an alternative interpretation of Elden Ring, a film for example. But I don’t think I or From Software have the knowledge or skills to produce something like that in any other medium. So there would have to be a strong partner.

At the same time, however, Miyazaki would not give up the popular fantasy world for a film adaptation lightly:
