Born June 16, 1934 in Cleveland (Ohio), Bill Cobbs notably played in the series To the White House, in which he appeared in season 3 as a man who visits the presidential building in Washington with his son. He also starred in the film Bodyguard with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston: he played one of the singer’s collaborators, Bill Devaney, who asks the bodyguard to ensure his protection, triggering the legendary cinema love story. Bill Cobbs also starred in the feature film Big jump of the Coen brothers in the 1990s, Demolition Man, The color of money Or The Soul ground of fear, and had appeared in family films Night at the Museum (2006), where he played a former guard at the New York Museum of Natural History, and in The Muppets , the return (2011).
