3 out of 4 French people hope one day to no longer have money worries
First observation of the study – conducted by Goliaths among 3,105 adults residing in France – nearly 3 out of 4 French people hope one day “no longer have money worries“In detail, it is an absolute dream for 54% of French people and a little less strong for 24% of them.
If the French hope to earn a large sum of money, it is essentially to no longer go to work. They would therefore be more than 82% willing to “stop working immediately“.
The second thing 77% of them would do is travel most of the time.
In third place, 71% would become “very generous and would distribute part of their fortune to loved ones and within their family“, the survey further reveals.
They would subsequently invest in projects for 69% of them (real estate, businesses, etc.) and 1 in two French people would finally distribute part of their fortune to their friends.
The French would need between 20 and 30 million to live “a dream life”
At the question “How much do you think you need to earn to live the life of your dreams?“, more than one in two French people (57% exactly) respond between 20 and 30 million euros.
A large sum, strongly represented, since the other tranches are significantly reduced: 11% over €30 million, 24% between €10 and €20 million and less than 8% below €10 million, the study reveals.
Another observation made by the survey: by suddenly becoming very rich, “more than 58% of French people would radically change their lifestyle“. Only 23% would keep their habits and 19% are unable to answer this question.
69% of French people are trying to get rich
To one day become rich, many French people are taking their lives into their own hands.
“Indeed, 33% do absolutely everything to be wealthy, 27% consider doing averagely and 9% just a little bit. Thus, 31% are aware of not really doing everything possible to access wealth“, specifies the press release.
The methods for seeing your bank account swell vary.
- Firstly, 58% invest in real estate.
- In second place, almost 55% work hard to earn more money.
- On the third step of the podium, 38% try their luck with the lottery and games of chance.
- Note that 27% of French people hope to one day receive an inheritance, almost equal to the 26% who seek to become rich on social networks by becoming influencers.
- Much more pragmatic, more than 14% invest in stock market products or in cryptocurrencies at 12%.
Interesting fact: there are 11% to hope for “marry a rich person“, concludes the study.
