The province wants motorists to pay to park at three P+Rs around Breukelen station. According to the province, the parking lot is used too often by people for whom it is not intended: long-term parkers, carpoolers and people from the area who can also take the bus or bicycle. The provincial government immediately started working on the plan before the vote. The barriers are already there, but the machines are still wrapped in black plastic.
