DHSC was founded in 2007 after a merger between DOS, Holland and Stichtse boys. The club started playing in the Utrecht district of Ondiep, where DOS and Holland previously played. The sports park was later renamed Sports Park Wesley Sneijder, who started his football career at DOS.
Thanks to financial help from the former professional footballer, the club was able to promote from the second division to the fourth division in a short time a few years ago. Sneijder withdrew from DHSC this spring. The club had had serious financial problems and debts to the KNVB and the municipality of Utrecht for a long time.
