Amazon MGM Studios and The Rock himself have released a first trailer for the Christmas action film Red One. DC star Dwayne Johnson and Marvel star Chris Evans appeared together in front of the camera for the film.

What is Red One with The Rock and Chris Evans about?
In Jake Kasdan’s action comedy Santa Claus kidnapped. Saint Nick is played by none other than JK Simmons, who is also known as the grumpy newspaper boss J. Jonah Jameson from the Spider-Man films. Santa’s security chief Callum Drift (Johnson) and his newly hired partner Jack O’Malley (Evans), who is actually on the list of naughty children, join forces to bring Santa to safety.
Also in the cast are Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Nick Kroll and Bonnie Hunt as Mrs. Claus. It could be that the co-stars are no longer on good terms with The Rock, who is said to have been extremely late on set. This is said to have cost the production several million US dollars.
When will Red One be in theaters?
The action Christmas film will be released in cinemas internationally just in time for the holidays. The German release date of the 14 November 2024.
