Greta Thunberg was detained by the police after a large climate demonstration in Helsinki on Tuesday.
After giving a speech in front of an audience of thousands outside the Riksdag building, Thunberg participated in a climate march that ended with several participants blocking car traffic in a large intersection in central Helsinki through a sit-in demonstration, writes Hufvudstadsbladet.
There, Thunberg and another 30 or so protesters were lifted away by the police, and taken to a waiting bus, EPN reports.
