Criminal suspicions against Aly Keita intensify ÖFK’s crisis – sponsors want to stop supporting the club

Since last week’s news about the criminal suspicions against Aly Keita, some sponsors have expressed that they will no longer be interested in the club going forward, according to Tom Pripp, chairman of Östersunds FK elitfotboll AB.

– It can be difficult to get them to continue supporting in the future, he says.

Keita’s future uncertain

On ÖFK’s website, Aly Keita is still listed as a player in the club’s A team. But how it will be in the future has not been decided yet, says Tom Pripp.

– I find it hard to believe that he will stay, but it is something we on the boards have to consider, he says.

ÖFK has for a long time had a crisis economy.
