The next spotlight hour is upon us in Pokémon GO. This time, Bubungus and a Stardust bonus await you.
What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday in Pokémon GO there is the so-called Spotlight Hour. There is a Pokémon that is in focus and appears in very large numbers.
There is also a bonus in each spotlight hour, which is also active for the duration of the event.
This time the focus is on the Pokémon Bubungus. The Pokémon has the types Grass and Fairy and comes from the 7th generation. It has an evolution called Lamellux.

Spotlight Hour on June 25 – Start and Bonuses
When does the spotlight hour start? Like every week, the spotlight hour begins at 6:00 p.m. After exactly 60 minutes, at 7:00 p.m., it ends again.
Which bonuses are active? This time you can look forward to a stardust bonus at the event. If you catch Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of stardust. It doesn’t matter whether it is a Bubungus or another Pokémon.
Can you catch shiny Bubungus? Yes, Bubungus is already available in its shiny form in Pokémon GO. So with a bit of luck, you might also come across the shiny variant during the Spotlight Hour.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? Neither Bubungus nor its evolution are strong Pokémon. You shouldn’t use them in battle leagues or for raids. For the latter, the best attackers in Pokémon GO are more worthwhile.
If you want to get the shiny copies of the Pokémon, you have to be lucky. The number of Pokémon spawns for Bubungus is greatly increased during the event, but the probability of getting a shiny remains the same.
The event bonus might be of interest to you if you want to boost your Stardust supplies a bit. With double the amount of Stardust per catch and the large number of spawns, you can get a nice amount of Stardust during the spotlight hour.
You can further increase the amount of stardust by using a star piece.
