In Stora Sjöfallet, Gällivare municipality, the man has gone hiking alone.
He was reported missing on Saturday and the police searched with a helicopter on Sunday without finding him. On Monday, the police found the man’s car at Stora Sjöfallets National Park.
A search effort is now underway in the immediate area where both the police helicopter and mountain rescuers are involved.
