(Finance) – The ITA Airways’ first direct flight between Milan Malpensa and New York JFK will take off on Saturday 2 April at 13:40 Italian time. The connection provides five weekly frequencies and will be operated on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with an Airbus A330-200, configured in three classes: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
The new connection from Malpensa it is added to the one already introduced by ITA on New York JFK from Rome Fiumicino, and to the connections from Rome to Miami and Boston launched during the month of March. Ita Airways will operate 42 weekly flights with the United States by August.
The routes will be open in the coming months from Rome Fiumicino to Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.
