The actor known from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean Tamayo Perry has died in a shark attack in Hawaii, reports among other things Sky News .
The accident happened on Sunday afternoon when Perry was surfing on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. A bystander noticed a man in the water and called for help.
Lifeguards brought Perry to shore on a jet ski. Perry was 49 years old when he died.
In addition to acting, Perry worked as a lifeguard and surfing instructor.
