In North Macedonia, the country’s parliament approved a new nationalist government on Sunday, which will become the prime minister Hristijan Mickoski.
The centre-right VMRO-DPMNE party won the country’s parliamentary elections in May. The party has pushed for the country’s EU membership, and Mickoski has also announced that the government will cut taxes and increase pensions and salaries.
Mickoski has called the country Macedonia, which may make it difficult for Greece to give its blessing to the country’s EU membership.
