In Formula One, before the third practices of the Spanish GP, McLaren experienced dramatic moments when a small-scale fire broke out in the team’s showroom. According to RacingNews365 several fire engines had arrived at the scene.
The stable members were safely evacuated from the situation. The third practices also started on time and the team’s drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are involved. Sky Sports reportsthat the cause of the fire was an electrical fault in the kitchen.
In the third practice of the Formula 1 teams, Ferrari was the fastest Carlos Sainz, who recorded the fastest lap time of 1.13.013. The second fastest was Norris with a lap time of 1.13.043 and the third fastest was Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in time 1.13.050.
Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas was the 14th of the third exercises. The Finnish driver’s best lap was 1.14.024.
