A 77-year-old driver from Perth East has been charged with assault with a weapon after allegedly attempting to hit someone with their car, police say.
The incident happened March 18 after a “dispute” between two people in the Perth County township escalated, according to Perth County OPP.
The accused person has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Stratford court at a later date.
