Journal des Femmes: Why did you agree to become the face of Sans Complexe Lingerie?
Laëtitia Milot
: It’s an accessible brand that I’ve always loved for its comfort. It represents all the values that I love on a daily basis: self-confidence, natural beauty, fantasy, freshness… I said yes as soon as I was contacted.

Were you immediately comfortable with the idea of posing in your underwear?
I didn’t even ask myself the question. I had previously modeled for a lingerie brand, so I’m used to playing with the camera and the camera. It’s an exercise that I really like and which allows me to bring out my personality.

What was your favorite piece to wear during the filming of the Bien dans mes seins campaign?
I can’t choose just one favorite piece. To tell the truth, they all suit me completely, because they are very colorful creations and I love that. I have a weakness for three sets: green, red and black decorated with a little gold edging. They all have their charms. Depending on the item of clothing I’m wearing, I love it when you can see a little colorful embroidery. I also like to wear transparent lingerie under a light blouse for example. In my opinion, it’s not vulgar, it even gives a little sexy side.

What advice would you give to a woman who doesn’t take responsibility for her breasts to improve her self-confidence?
You have to try not to compare yourself to other women. Everyone has their own body, that’s normal. If it helps, sport can be a good way to feel good in your head and in your skin. I’m also a big foodie, but I never feel guilty when I eat. And obviously, I choose clothes and lingerie in which I feel beautiful. Finally, I would say that you have to train your mind to see the positive in all situations.

What do you think is the real point of wearing beautiful lingerie under your everyday clothes?
Lingerie is made to feel beautiful inside and out! Some pieces allow you to see the top of the lace so this also allows you to embellish an outfit. It’s really very glamorous. No one can know what’s hidden under a big winter sweater, for example. It’s a very personal self-confidence boost.

How do you define your relationship to fashion?
Outside of filming, I’m not very focused on fashion. I’m also lucky enough to not have to worry about it, as I’m often dressed by brands who know me and my body well. They know what suits me and what doesn’t, so that’s an advantage in my favor. But as soon as I’m at home, I have a very relaxed style, maybe even a little too much sometimes.

Have you ever felt like you were being sexualized because of your breasts on one of your shoots?
No never, I was lucky.

Do you intervene in the choice of your outfits for your characters?
I like to share my style ideas with each new shoot. I am given scenarios and based on what I think and what I am comfortable with, I offer clothing style suggestions. It allows me to create the character and put myself more easily in his shoes. But be careful, I submit ideas that correspond to the personality of the role I play and not according to my own.

Your character’s style More beautiful lifeMélanie, did it end up rubbing off on you?
No way ! She was a dapper young woman who loved miniskirts and crop tops. She liked to show off her strengths, and that’s a little less the case for me. Playing Mélanie was great, but her way of dressing is not mine at all. In real life, I dress as Laëtitia.
