Beach volleyball EC competitions will be held in Holland in August.
Taru Lahti-Liukkonen and Niina Ahtiainen reached the EC tournament in beach volleyball.
The fight for the European championship will take place from the 13th to the 18th. August in the Netherlands. The competition cities are The Hague, Arnhem and Aperdoorn. There are 32 teams for both men and women, who will be drawn into eight groups.
In last year’s tournament in Austria, Lahti-Liukkonen and Ahtiainen finished ninth. In this summer’s tournament, the duo will play for the second time as a pair at the EC level.
Lahti-Liukkonen has already played in the EC tournament 10 times since 2013. Only in the summer of 2020 did she miss the European Championships when she was on maternity leave. Ahtiainen’s upcoming European Championships are the eighth in a row.
