Offshore wind power: France’s forced march

Offshore wind power, an essential energy source in the face of climate change. In this race, France has strong potential with its 4 maritime facades but it is significantly behind its European neighbors. With only 3 active offshore parks, the country aims to deliver 50 offshore wind farms by 2050. A real marathon has therefore been launched with industrialists and maritime stakeholders to build a sector which is still in its infancy. . Opposition also remains numerous, as do questions about the environmental impact of these giants of the seas.
