(Finance) – UniCredit and PwC Italia have signed a Collaboration Agreement to help Italian companies to access local, national and European facilitation measures quickly and easily, including the tax credit provided for Unique SEZ.

In particular, UniCredit provides its business customers – in particular SMEs – with free access to the PwC Italia “Tenders and Incentives” platform, a digital infrastructure that collects the Contribution Notices and Tax Incentives organized for

UniCredit’s corporate clients – explains the note – can register without costi on the platform and freely navigate through the tenders and incentives that are constantly updated and selected according to the participation requirements and the characteristics of the company. It is possible to freely consult updated textual and multimedia sheets which describe the main existing concessions, identify the most interesting concessions for your company based on its characteristics and request quotes for the Professional Services offered by PwC to support companies in the procedures of access and participation in tenders and incentives.

“The role of a large bank like UniCredit – he declared Ferdinando Natali, Regional Manager Sud of UniCredit – is to be a point of reference for companies in making SEZs an accessible tool for Small and Medium Enterprises, helping them to fully grasp
Opportunities. The collaboration with PwC is a concrete initiative that goes in this direction, supporting SMEs in dialogue with the Public Administration and integrates with the latest edition of UniCredit for Italy, launched in recent months and which allocates 10 billion
euros dedicated to SMEs, with 40% destined for the South”.

“The single SEZ is essential above all to relaunch the entrepreneurial fabric of the South, addressing the critical factors for Italian companies” he states Matteo D’Alessio, Global Relationship Partner PwC for Unicredit. “With greater coordination and
cohesion, companies can now benefit from tax incentives and bureaucratic reductions. The “Tenders and Incentives” Platform facilitates the identification of facilitation measures and allows access to a team of specialists via a completely digitalised path.
At PwC we recognize the strategic importance of SEZs and the potential that derives from the intelligent use of technology, and we are certain that this initiative will also be successful in Italy”.

The agreement between UniCredit and PwC, born in early 2023 from the collaboration between UniCredit Task Force for the PNRR and PwC’s Digital Innovation Team, provides “a range of financial and consultancy solutions to support the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises
Italian companies benefit from the benefits provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), also with additional liquidity necessary to deal with the increases linked to the costs of raw materials and facilitate the execution of the Plan”
