The TV4 News team in Gothenburg had a breathtaking experience today – 69 floors up and 220 meters above sea level, they got to visit the newly built Karlatornet in the Lindholmen district of Hisingen.
Construction has been ongoing since 2018 and the plan was then that it would be even higher than today.
The 245-metre skyscraper will be the Nordic region’s tallest building and is expected to be fully completed later this year. Karlatornet is part of the new area of Karlastaden, where several slightly lower high-rise buildings are also planned.
