In episode 1, the future Vice President Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) receives an email from Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) on her cell phone, which supposedly contains sensitive files about her. Billy Butcher makes it clear in the crudest way that he is no longer interested in working with Neuman. However, The Boys creator gives the all-clear on X: It is not Karl Urban’s own butt in the picture.

In an interview with Collider, Eric Kripke also reveals that actress Claudia Doumitt’s reaction at that moment was completely authentic and she didn’t know what to expect beforehand:
When we shot the close-up, we put the real butt on the phone so that [der Schock] her real reaction to the sight of the butt.
The authentic improvisational moment paid off and produced one of the funniest reactions in the opening episode. However, Kripke also shows a certain remorse for this FSK-18 prank:
