The new MMORPG Tarisland starts on June 21st. MeinMMO was already able to play the game on the server in China and has brought you 5 tips and tricks to help you get off to a successful start.
When the lights go on at Tarisland all over the world on June 21, 2024, the game will have been released in China for a long time. We were able to get a first impression on the server there and have brought you 5 tips and tricks to get you started.
Dungeons, Friend Tokens and Daily Quests
In Tarisland, there are five different tasks to complete every day. One of the tasks, which occurs regularly, requires you to complete a dungeon, sometimes on elite difficulty, with friends or guild members.
If you can’t find anyone who wants to join you, don’t worry. Simply add the players you are in a dungeon with as friends during your run. As long as they accept before completing the instance, you will complete the quest.
For successfully completing the game with friends, you will also receive friend tokens, which you can exchange in the “friendship shop” for all kinds of items, a mount and silver.
Don’t lose your gold when trading
Buying and selling items in the auction house is part of Tarisland, as it is in many other MMORPGs. There is one thing that is not possible in Tarisland, however, and that is abitrage. In simple terms, abitrage means that you buy an item cheaply and sell it for more. All items purchased in Tarisland are tied to you. This means that you cannot trade them directly.
However, if you buy materials and use them to craft something, the end product can be traded again. This means you can also take advantage of low market prices.
Look at what values you need right from the start
Every beginning is difficult, but to avoid being at the bottom of the DPS meter, you can choose the right items right from the start.
To find out which values you actually need, you can simply open your character window and look at the values you need in the top right, under your current specification.
So just choose the items that are higher up in the priority list. The values will later unlock levels in your passive skills, so it’s worth concentrating on one value.
After the story comes the exploration
While in other MMORPGs collecting and exploring usually plays a minor role, this is not the case in Tarisland.
Exploring the map and collecting collectibles contributes to reputation rank, which unlocks new items in the reputation store, which also has items that affect your character.
Specifically, it’s mainly about the inscribed stone energy. You collect this to spend on passive values and bonuses in a skill tree. The values in this tree contribute significantly to character development.
So if you’re ever bored, take the opportunity to increase your reputation by collecting and exploring the map. The more difficult raids later in the game will thank you for it.
Elan is free gold
In Tarisland, you are limited when it comes to farming and crafting. Every time you do something related to professions, you use up vigor. Vigor recharges over time, but when it reaches the limit, excess vigor is lost.
Even if you don’t use professions in other games, you should spend your energy in Tarisland right from the start, even if you only use it to mine stones and sell them.
However, if you are smart and use the market, you can earn a lot of gold with your enthusiasm without spending a single cent. MeinMMO author Cedric did just that when he tried it out in China and even earned the monthly pass in just a few days: Tarisland is neither a WoW clone nor a mobile game, it is the next big MMORPG
