Nintendo launched an event on the afternoon of June 18, 2024 focused on future games that will be released on Switch. If you were waiting for the Switch 2, it’s not this time.
In recent weeks, major conferences have been held one after another for video game enthusiasts. Between Playstation and recently Xbox during Summer Game Fest, everyone was served. And it was Nintendo who took advantage of the end of all hostilities to unveil a Direct. During the day of Tuesday June 18, 2024, the multinational company gave us an appointment at 4 p.m. sharp to attend the announcements concerning the next releases on its Switch.
An event which lasted no less than 40 minutes and which saw a large number of announcements follow one another. If you missed the meeting, we offer you a summary of the games that have been revealed.
Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood
What better way to start a direct than with Nintendo’s two flagship characters, Mario and Luigi! The famous duo comes together in a brand new game which takes up the actual codes of the Mario & Luigi saga. The trailer reveals turn-based gameplay and 3D game cutscenes that are different from those on 3DS. The release of Mario & Luigi: Borthership as for it is scheduled for November 7, 2024 on Switch.
Super Mario Party Jamboree
The new part of the famous Saga invites us to join our heroes on brand new game boards, some of which come from the first editions. Super Mario Jamboree offers no less than 110 mini-games for all tastes and some new features to boot. A little patience though, the game will be released on October 17 on your console.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Big surprise from this Nintendo Direct, a new game in the franchise”The Legend of Zelda” was announced. Just as surprising as it is, The Legend of Zelda offers you for the first time to play not Link but Princess Zelda. Years after the release of the first game, these are the roles that will reverse For fans of the saga, see you on September 26, 2024, release date. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on Switch.
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond
To close the event in the best possible way, Nintendo revealed the next game in the Metroid Prime series. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond will see young Samus Aran make her return in a 3D-based game. After being pushed back and then started again from scratch, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond will be released on your console in 2025.
