The Swedish Parliament will vote today on the DCA agreement between Sweden and the United States regarding defense cooperation. Sweden concluded the agreement at the end of last year, but today it will be considered by the Diet.
Six of the eight parliamentary parties support the agreement. The left and the greens have reservations about it. The parties have criticized the fact that the agreement lacks an entry limiting nuclear weapons, as is the case in the similar agreements of Denmark and Norway.
