  • Hezbollah member killed in Israeli attack

    A person from the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah has been killed in an Israeli drone attack in southern Lebanon, state media reports in the country.

    Hezbollah issued a statement identifying the member as Muhammad Ayoub.

    Israel’s military describes him as a prominent figure from a rocket unit within Hezbollah, and says he was involved in, among other things, planning attacks from southern Lebanon against Israel.

    Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been shelling each other almost daily since the Gaza war began as a result of Hamas’ attack on Israel in October.

  • Moped hit by car – one to hospital

    A traffic accident occurred in Stenhagen in Uppsala at around 5:30 p.m.

    A moped collided with a car. The moped rider had to be taken by ambulance to hospital but is not said to be seriously injured, according to the police.

    The driver, a man in his 40s, is suspected of negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.

  • House artist Dario G dead – was 53 years old

    British house artist Paul Spencer, better known as Dario G, has died.

    It reports The daily newspaper.

    He died after a long battle with cancer. The death is confirmed by the family. Dario G was best known for the song “Synchyme”.

    He was 53 years old.

  • Person found dead – man arrested

    A dead person has been found in Kramfors municipality.

    The police were alerted to the incident at 2pm on Monday. A man has been arrested and the police are investigating the incident as a murder.

    The police do not want to go into any further details about the incident or the crime victim.

    – You must be allowed to continue working on this now and there will be further interrogations, says Åsa Mjörndal, press spokesperson at the police.

    “Intensive investigative work is underway, including through trace protection, crime scene investigation and questioning,” the police write on their website.

    They write that helicopters, drones and police dogs are involved in the investigative work.

    – It is primarily documentation of the crime scene.

    The police consider it to be an isolated incident.

    Next of kin have been notified.

  • Road closed – timber truck has lost load

    A timber truck has dropped timber over highway 42 outside Borås, reports P4 Seven-way.

    Vladimir Putin has fired four deputy defense ministers, Russian news agency Ria Novosti reports on Telegram.

    He has now appointed Anna Tsivileva as deputy defense minister. According to Russian media, she is the daughter of one of Vladimir Putin’s cousins.

    The four fired ministers are Nikolai Pankov, Ruslan Tsalikov, Tatiana Shevtsova and Pavel Popov, writes Reuters.

    Former national police chief Anders Thornberg continues to work as governor in Halland despite the criminal suspicions against him.

    He doesn’t want to go into whether he thinks it’s appropriate or not.

    – That question must be put to the government, he says to SVT Nyheter Halland.

    In mid-May, it became known that Anders Thornberg is suspected of causing another’s death after the death of police chief Mats Löfving last year.

  • Swedes arrested in Mallorca – suspected of money laundering

    Two Swedish men have been arrested on Mallorca in Spain, reports P4 Stockholm.

    They are suspected of money laundering through property deals. According to P4, it is about a criminal organization that since 2022 has dedicated itself to laundering money from Stockholm’s drug trade.

    During the crackdown, the police also seized a large property in Palma valued at more than one million euros, which corresponds to eleven million kroner, as well as several bank accounts.

    In total, it is millions of euros from the drug trade in Sweden that have been invested in shops and restaurants in Mallorca.

    More arrests may take place in the near future, according to Spanish media.

    Hello! This is what it says on SR’s website: “If you want to listen to Summer in P1, you can either listen directly on FM at 1 p.m., just as usual, or on Sveriges Radio Play – where you can also listen to the summer episodes afterwards” .

    You can therefore listen live on the radio. However, you will not be able to listen to the episodes in other apps such as Spotify.
